This location was purposely chosen as home base for our company because it is an area heavily populated with many biotech and pharmaceutical companies, providing our company with a nearby vast network of professionals to assist in our research and development efforts. We are positioned in one of the largest centers of medical innovation in the entire country, facilitating our research and efforts to discover alternative medicines.
We value our veterans and therefore, our strong relationship with the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are collaborating with the VA to create new, alternative medicines to aid our targeted veteran population. We are located less than five miles from the VA Hospital in La Jolla, CA., enabling us to provide more responsive and reliable support and services to their veteran patients. This VA hospital is a leader in the research for drug development for veterans.
Royal Emerald Pharmaceuticals is also near two major military health installations in San Diego County. We are a 15 minute drive away from the Navy Medical Center San Diego (Balboa Hospital) and only 30 minutes away from the Navy Hospital at Camp Pendleton, CA. These two facilities are on the leading edge of healthcare and cater to many active duty and retired service members who call San Diego home.
We have expanded our endeavors and acquired a new research facility in Desert Hot Springs. This facility, that was previously a K-Mart, will be used to research medicine aimed at alleviating medical conditions that have befallen our Veterans and First Responders during their service.
